The Ionia County News, Thursday, March 8, 1934
Mrs. Arthur Federau died in a Lansing sanitarium at 2:30 Wednesday morning, 
March 7, after a illness of several months with tuberculosis.  

Mildred Riker, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Riker, was born in Orange 
township 24 years ago.  All of her life up to the time of her marriage to 
Arthur Federau some three years ago was spent in Orange township.  Besides her 
husband she is survived by a daughter, Donna Jean; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Harry Riker; two brothers, Lee of Portland township and Robert at home; three 
sisters, Laureita, Marion and Frances, all at home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the 
Robertson-Barbier Funeral home in Lansing.
