She was the daughter of Joseph and Mabel Dwyer Cook of Pewamo. She was graduated from Pewamo High School and spent most of her life in the Westphalia area, and her summers at Houghton Lake. She was co-owner and manager of Town and Country Food Center, president of J.F. Inc. and President of Fedewa Development Inc. She had been at various times employed by Mitchell Bentley, the State of Michigan, and the Adult Education Department of Portland Public Schools. She was associated with; St. Mary’s Parish, Westphalia; The Daughters of Isabel; St. Mary’s Choir; Lansing Homebuilders Assoc.; and the Pewamo-Westphalia Advisory Board. She often visited cancer patients and was a member of the Ostomy Assoc. for 25 years. She taught the C.C.D. handicapped class at St. Mary’s, under the direction of the late Rev. Miller. She was active in the International Youth Exchange and World Vision programs. She is survived by her husband Bob; three sons; Mike, Tim, and Kurt; two daughters; Jeanne Simon and Janet Tokarz; two brothers; Louie and Ken Cook; three sisters; Mary Kathryn Boak, Theresa Angwin, and Carol Freuff; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will be at St. Mary’s Chapel in Westphalia from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. A private burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph cemetery, Pewamo. Pall Bearers will be Tom, Laura, Dave, and Dennis Cook, Kevin Boak, Karen Jonas, and Ann Keilen. Funeral Mass will be 7 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo.
