Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 Feb 1984

Wilhelmina (Minnie) Fedewa, 89, of 644 Staley Road, Lyons, died Sunday in Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.  Born June 5, 1894, in Portland, she was the daughter 
of John and Veronica Hafner Burger.  Her husband Michael preceded her in death 
in 1947.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church in Ionia.

Surviving are: a son, Clement Fedewa of Lyons; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert 
(Estella) Fox of Portland; 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.  A son, 
Kenneth, preceded her in death in 1963, and a daughter, Marguerite Fernolz, 
preceded her in death in 1949.

Rosary services will be held at Neller Funeral Home, Portland, at 8 p.m. 
Tuesday.  Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick’s 
Catholic Church, Portland, with the Rev. Richard VanLente officiating.  Burial 
will be in Portland Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.
