Beatrice Helen Fedewa, 94, of Saranac passed away Oct. 9, 2012 in Lowell. She 
was born Jan. 22, 1918 in Saranac, the daughter of George and Lyla (Benedict) 
Lowrey. Beatrice married Oliver Fedewa, Nov. 5, 1939 in Angola, Ind. He 
preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1999. She was a member of Boston Historical 
Society.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Patricia Fedewa of Saranac; 
grandchildren, Monya (Melvin) Whortley of Lake Odessa and David (Amy) Lozo of 
Lake Odessa; great grandchildren, Trulana Wortley, Audra Wortley, Kristin Lozo, 
Dallas Lozo and Analise Lozo; great great grandchildren, Hunter Chick, Angelina 
Wortley and Ariel Wortley; brothers-in-law, Les Fedewa of Portland and Fritz 
(Maerose) Fedewa of Portland; sisters-in-law, Milly Denny of Lansing and 
Janette (Paul) Echlin of Fort Wayne and special friends and neighbors, Bill 
(Evelyn) Hecht of Saranac, Pat Fisher of Lake Odessa, Jewel Benjamin-Swanberg 
of Rockford and Joy Eash of Crystal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Clayton.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 12, 11 a.m. at Living Gospel 
Church in Lake Odessa with Pastor Steve Hadley officiating. Visitation will be 
Friday, 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Saranac. Anyone wishing may make a 
memorial contribution in Beatrice's name to Living Gospel Church, Safe Haven 
Humane Society or Boston-Saranac Historical Society. Online condolences may be
