Fedewa, 82,died Sept. 20 in Lansing. He was born in Westphalia on July 5, 1910, the son of Carl and Helena Fox Fedewa. He was a retired farmer and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Anna; three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Jane) Weber, Mrs. Darrell (Marlene) Hengesbach, and Mrs. David (Linda) Platte, all of Westphalia; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Fedewa of Fowler. Preceding him in death were a son, Larry, four brothers, Adam, John, Ed and Urban Fedewa. The family will be at St. Mary’s Chapel, Westphalia, beginning at 2 p.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia, with the Rev. James Novak officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Vern Fedewa, Bob Schafer, Ken Fedewa, Gerard Fedewa, Dave Fedewa and Jim Haas.
