The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 10, 2013


Janet M. Fedewa, 47, of Portland, Mich., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, 
after a short bout with cancer.  She was born on Oct. 4, 1966, in Ionia, Mich., 
the daughter of Ronald and Linda (Lewis) Black.  Janet enjoyed spending time 
with her grandchildren, playing bingo and traveling, especially to Mackinaw 
Island, Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio. 

Preceding her in death was her father, Ronald Black.  Surviving are her 
husband, Patrick Fedewa; daughter, Andrea (Cory) Braley; grandson, Dominick; 
granddaughter, Skylar-Ann; mother, Linda (Roy) Zerbe; siblings, George (Glenda) 
Black, Richard (Enid) Morris, and Waylon Black; several nieces and nephews. 

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Lehman 
Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.  The family will receive friends 
from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
