Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Mar 1989

Christine M. Fedewa, 101, of 525 Lyons Road, Portland, died March 28 at Ionia
Manor.  She was born May 3, 1887, in Portland.

She is survived by her four sons, Oliver of Saranac, Frederick of Lyons, and
Leslie and Thomas, both of Portland; three daughters, Lucille Bonin of Lewiston,
Mich., Mildred Denny of Grand Ledge, and Janette Echlin of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 20
grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren.  One son, Raymond, and
one daughter, Marie Spitzley, preceded her in death.

Rosary will be Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home, Portland.  Funeral
services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, the Rev Thomas
Boufford officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
