The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, December 3, 1942


Miss Mary Ann Fedewa, 20, of Pewamo, died Wednesday evening at 6:45 o’clock at 
Sparrow hospital, Lansing, where she had been a patient for the past two 
months.  She had been ill with leukemia.  

Born May 6, 1922, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Fedewa of 
Pewamo.  She was graduated from Pewamo high school and attended Lansing 
Secretarial college for one year.  After working in Lansing for a short time, 
she had accepted a position at the State Savings bank of Ionia in June 1941, 
and worked there up to the time of her illness.

Surviving besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Fedewa, are two brothers 
and five sisters.  Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 
o’clock war time at the Catholic church at Pewamo.
