Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Aug 1988

Walter J. Fedewa, 76, of West Colony Road, Pewamo, died Aug. 18 at Carson City
Hospital.  He was born Nov. 7, 1911, at his parents’ residence in Pewamo, the
son of Theodore and Mary (Schafer) Fedewa.  He lived all his life in Pewamo.  He
married Bernita M. Cook on Oct. 22, 1949, in Pewamo.  He was a member of the St.
Joseph Catholic Church and was a farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Bernita; two sons, John and Gerard, both of Pewamo.  One
son, Donald Joseph, preceded him in death in 1969.

Funeral services will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Monday at 11 a.m. 
Friends may visit the family Saturday, with rosaries at 3 and 8 p.m., at the
Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns; and also, Sunday after 10 a.m. at the holy
Trinity Activity Center in Fowler, with rosaries at 3 and 8 p.m.  Arrangements
are by the Osgood Funeral Home, Goerge Chapel, Fowler
