Ethelyn C. Feehan, age 89, of Ionia, passed away Mon., Mar. 14, 2005 in Ionia.  
She was born April 1, 1915, in Portland, the daughter of Harry and Myrtle 
(Martin) Wilcox.  She married James Gordon Feehan June 27, 1941.  He preceded 
her in death in 1986.  She owned and operated Gordon’s Cash Market in Ionia 
with her husband for several years.  She was a member of Sheridan VFW Auxiliary 
and SS Peter & Paul Church.

Ethelyn is survived by her children, Leroy Feehan of Florida, Garry and Judy 
Feehan of Dewitt, Lisa Feehan Becher of Ionia; brother Ivan Wilcox of Portland; 
sisters Dorothy Kissane of Portland, Frances Adam of Portland; grandchildren 
Toni (Cliff) Allen of Ionia, Melody Feehan of Florida, Rick (Onnette) Feehan of 
Ionia, Tracy (Steve) Hodgkins of Ionia, Scott (Toni) Feehan of Muir, Garry 
(Tammy) Feehan Jr. of Ionia, Tim Kubica of St. Johns, April (Tom) Woltman of 
Howell, Rene Feehan of Dewitt, Benjamin J. Hall of South Carolina, Mindy Hall 
of Lansing, Brooke Becher of Ionia and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Ann Feehan, in 1964; three 
brothers, Howard Wilcox, Ernest Wilcox, Harold Wilcox; two sisters, Helen 
Mellsted and Leta Wickerink.

A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thurs. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Mr. Cliff Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends and 
relatives today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  You may make 
memorial contributions to Ionia Hospital or Heartland Health Care.
