LeRoy L. Feehan, of West Palm Beach, Fla. and formerly of Ionia, age 71, 
passed away at his home Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 surrounded by his family and 
friends.  

He was born on Nov. 21, 1936.  LeRoy was a colorful entrepreneur first in the 
Ionia area and then in West Palm Beach, Fla. area.  LeRoy had a successful 
business known as Chief Asphalt & Seal Coat.  He will long be remembered for 
his love and timeless style, and his generosity, compassion to others in which 
he gave many a second chance in life.  His business was his life to the very 
end.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Stilwell Feehan, sister Cheryl 
Feehan and parents James Gordon and Ethelyn Feehan.

LeRoy is survived by a brother, Garry (Judy) Feehan; special niece, Lisa 
Becher (Lisa’s daughter Brooke); children, Toni (Cliff) Allen, Melody Feehan, 
Rick (Onette) Feehan, Tracy (Steve) Hodgkins and Scott (Toni) Feehan; 11 
grandchildren, Amanda (Brad), Jamie, Stephanie (Tom) Marilyn, Danielle (Adam), 
Kara, Jeremy, Ashley, David, Rachael and Alexandra and nieces and nephews 
too.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at Zion United 
Methodist Church, 423 W. Washington St., Ionia, officiating will be Pastor 
Cliff Allen.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m.  A memorial service is at 7 p.m.  
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ionia Area Hospice.
