Ionia Sentinel Standard – Friday, 27 September 1974
Mrs. Marilyn R. Feehan, 37, of 615 Crawford died Thursday at St. Mary’s 
hospital in Grand Rapids of injuries sustained in a bicycle-car accident in 
Ionia, Thursday.  Born in Ionia July 14, 1938, she was the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Milton Stilwell and attended the Ionia high school.  She was married May 
13, 1954, in Ionia to LeRoy Feehan.  For two years she was employed at the 
Mitchell Bentley Corporation of Ionia.  A member of the Elks Antlerettes, she 
also belonged to the hospital guild, the SS Peter and Paul Catholic church, and 
was chairman for the Ionia Centennial.



Surviving besides the husband, LeRoy, are two sons, Rick and Scott, and three 
daughters, Toni, Melody and Tracy, all at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton 
Stilwell of Ionia, and a sister, Mrs. Audrey Pitts of Lansing.  Funeral mass 
will be Monday at 10 am at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic church.



Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 pm at the Myers-Roetman funeral home.  
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral 
home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and  7 to 9 pm.  A memorial fund has 
been established for the Elks club and contributions may be left at the funeral 
home.
