She was born Oct. 15, 1923, in Hammond, Ind., the daughter of Casper and Ernstena Proeschold Camp. Verda worked for General Tire, Ionia, retiring in 1975. She was married May 7, 1946, in Ionia to William L. Feehan. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1973. Verda is survived by her children, William and Alicia Feehan, Douglas and Fern Feehan, all of Belding, Phillip Scott and Char Feehan of Greenville, Margaret “Peggy” and Craig Gregory of Gowen, Connie and Tom Doty of Orleans; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn Pecktil, Elvera and Richard Muscott, all of Ionia, Sylvia and Edwin Andres, Nellie Braman, all of Belding; one brother and sister-in-law, Leslie and Marian Camp of Wilbur, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; three brothers, Louis Camp, George Camp Sr., Phillip Camp; five half brothers and two half sisters. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Paul Leslie officiating. Interment is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Belding Area Ambulance.
