Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 27 & 29 Dec 1949

Mrs. Mary Feehan, 68, of 446 Center street died at the Ionia Convalescent home
on North Jackson street Christmas morning at 8:15 o’clock from injuries
sustained in a fall at her home July 26 when she crushed her spinal column.  She
was born Aug. 23, 1881, in Hubbardston the daughter of Dennis and Mary Hogan,
and has lived in Ionia 35 years.  She married Dan Feehan in Hubbardston Oct. 18,
1910.  He died during the past year.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Husband of Dearborn; two brothers, John
Hogan of Ionia and Dennis Hogan of Belding, and two grandsons.

Mrs. Feehan was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church and of the Rosary society.

Funeral services will be conducted at SS. Peter and Paul church Wednesday at 9
a.m. with interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Rosary will be said Tues. at the
home of her brother at 440 State street at 8 p.m.

Requiem high mass was sung for Mrs. Mary Feehan from the SS. Peter and Paul
church Wednesday, December 28, at 9 a.m. by the Rev. Fr. John S. Fons. 
Interment was in Mt. Oliver cemetery.  Bearers were Gerald Hogan, Michael Hogan,
Dennis Hogan, Clark Hogan, Gordon Feehan, Victor Feehan.

Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the services included: Mr. and Mrs.
Kyran Beahan and Mr. and Mrs. John Hogan and daughter of Carson City; Mrs. James
Cunningham, Mrs. Jule Roach, Erwin Roach, Mr. and Mrs. John Coonan, all of
Hubbardston; Mrs. Wayne Beahan and son Palmer, Dan and Pat Hogan, Muir; Mr. and
Mrs. Ted Alberts, and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Gasper, Belding and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip
Schafer, Mrs. Anna Hogan, Gerald Hogan and Michael of Hubbardston.
