County News - Thursday, March 29, 1951

John Edward Fell, Sr. died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edna Robinson, 
1906, 19th St. Detroit, Sunday, March 25.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Fell, he was born January 14, 1874 in Sebewa 
township and was 76 years old at the time of his death. With the exception of 
the time spent in Detroit, he had been a farmer and factory worker in the 
Portland vicinity.

Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Robinson, Detroit; four sons, Winfield of 
Mason, Edward of Lansing, Lee of Charlotte and Levi of Lyons. Also 20 
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Rev. Myron Hoyt officiated at the funeral service held from Neller Funeral Home 
in Portland Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in Portland cemetery.
