Mrs. Rua E. Fellows, 65, of Lake Odessa died Saturday morning at Traverse City
after a long illness.  Mrs. Fellows was born in Lake Odessa, the daughter of Dr.
and Mrs. John Day.  She spent her earlier life in Lake Odessa and was a retired
schoolteacher.  She was employed as a music and arts teacher in the Detroit
schools for 35 years.

Survivors are her husband, James; mother, Mrs. Flora Day of Alma and one sister
Mrs. Edna Ostrander of Curtis.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at the Pickens
funeral chapel in Lake Odessa.  The Rev. Paul Robinson will officiate and
interment will be at Riverside cemetery, Alma at 2 p.m.
