          ANOTHER PIONEER CALLED TO REST

   MRS. MARY C. FELLOWS ANSWERS LAST SUMMONS PEACEFULLY THURSDAY 
   MORNING --FUNERAL WILL BE HELD AT M. E. CHURCH SUNDAY AFTERNOON
                               ----------
   In the death of Mrs. Mary C. Fellows, aged 77 years, mother of James Fellows of
this place, with whom she 
made her home, Lake Odessa loses another of its honored pioneers.  After an illness
of about 10 days Mrs. 
Fellows was found dead in bed Thursday morning at 6 o'clock by son.
   Mrs. Fellows has not been in the best of health for a number of years, and a
little more than a week before 
her death suffered from an attack of illness.  Wednesday evening at 10 o'clock she
seemed to e resting very 
comfortably and it was apparent from the expression of peace on her face and her
attitude of repose that the 
end came quietly.
   The funeral will be held from the Methodist church at 2 p'clock next Sunday
afternoon, following a short 
service at the house.  Rev. Thomas Laity will preach the sermon and the remains will
be interred in Lakeside 
cemetery.
