Fellows, of this village, died at the asylum at Traverse City on Monday morning, and the funeral was held from the home of his parents on Thursday forenoon at ten o'clock. Rev. Wilcox of the M.E.Church preaching the funeral sermon. The remains of the young man were interred in Lakeside, being followed to their last resting place by a considerable company of the family's friends. Mr. Fellows was born in Newaygo county, June 7th 1868. Two months after his birth his parents moved to Tremayne Corners, this county, and lived there two years, then Mr. Fellows bought property here and they moved onto the farm in this village where they have since lived, and the young son grew to manhood. He was married to Essie Doty, at Manistee, in April, 18_5. Shortly after this marriage he brought his bride to this village and they lived here a couple of years than moved to Lansing, where they remained for a couple of years. While in the Capitol City Mrs.Fellows ran away with another and the trouble unsettled the man's mind. He returned home, and has spent much of the time since in an effort to throw off the terrible trouble that had befallen his lot. A short time ago he was taken to the asylum at traverse City, where he had been but a few days before his death. The family of the young man have the deepest sympathy of all to their sad bereavement.
