CURTIS FELTNER 1931-2016
Curtis Feltner, 84, of Muir, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away June 23, 2016. He
was born Aug. 31, 1931 in Hyden, Kentucky the son of Rufus and Elizabeth (Fields)
Feltner.

Curtis married Melvina Serene on Aug. 20, 1955 in Battle creek. He was a member of
the Church of Christ in Battle Creek. Curtis worked at Steel and Wire in Battle Creek
and then Waldorf's in Battle Creek, where he retired.

Curtis is survived by wife,Melvina Feltner of Muir, MI; children, Leroy C (Pat)
Feltner of Battle Creek, MI, Michael J. Feltner of Muir, MI. and Janice K. (Dwayne) Nobis of
Ionia, MI.; grandchildren, Jeffery A. Emard of Ionia,MI., Allen J. Emard II of Ionia, MI., and
Jenny L. Strause of Ionia, MI; step-grandchildren, Mark R. Novis of Saranac, MI, Andrew E.
Nobis of Muir, MI; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Edmond Feltner of Richland, MI. Rufus
(Debbie) Feltner of Battle Creek, MI; sisters, Vickie Prater of Battle Creek, MI. and Ann
Fish of Battle Creek, MI.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Sunday June 26 at the Lake Funeral home in
Muir online condolences may be made at www.lakefueralhomes.com
