She was born July 7, 1857 in Canada and at the age of eight years moved with her parents to Michigan and settled near Blanchard. February 22, 1858 she was married to George Fenderson who preceded her in death in August 1937. She was a lifelong member of the Ionia Church of Christ and was the oldest member of Capt. Frank D. Curas auxiliary. She is survived by a son, C. E. Fenderson of Dubuque, Iowa, two grandchildren, Eleanor Fenderson and Kenneth Blizzard of Cranford, new Jersey; one great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Martha Morgan of Big Rapids; a brother, Alfred Kelly of Boise, Idaho. A son, George M. Fenderson, died in Modesto, California in July, 1942. Funeral services will be announced later, pending the arrival of the son, C. E. Fenderson. The body will repose at the Stone funeral home. Transcriber’s Note: There appears to be an error in the birth and marriage years, since they are only a year apart.
