Ferguson, 56, of 1068 East Washington died suddenly while at work at Hancock Industries at Elsie Friday. He suffered an apparent heart attack. Born at Coral, April 9, 1915, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ferguson. He was quality control engineer for Hancock Industries the past three years. He was formerly employed at Gibsons at Belding, Chrysler Trim plant in Lyons and worked at Michigan Reformatory during the summer. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the air force. He was married to Grace Mohler who died in 1959. February 16, 1963, he was married to Letha Walker. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Danon Ferguson of Ionia and Gene Ferguson at home; two step-sons, Gerald Walker of Fenwick and Bruce Walker at home; daughter, Terri Sue Ferguson at home; step-daughter, Janice Walker at home; six grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford Ferguson of Ionia and C.B. Ferguson of Harrison; two sisters, Mrs. Leola Wieczorek of Ionia and Mrs. Leona Martin of Kalamazoo. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home. Rev. John Guerney of Sheridan will officiate and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery at Lake Odessa.
