The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 8, 1941

Funeral services will be held in Belding Tuesday for George Ferman, 69, who 
died at his home Saturday from a heart attack.  Born near Stanton, Mr. Ferman 
had lived in Belding for 25 years.

Surviving are Mrs. Hettie Ferman, his wife; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ray Kidd 
of Belding and Mrs. Edna Pickle of Stanton; one step-son, Willard Fleck, of 
Lansing; one brother, Ray Ferman, of Ithaca, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Hodges 
of Pontiac.
