Mabel Jean Ferman, 75, of Belding, passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 2, 2004,
at Metron of Belding Nursing Home.  Mabel was born April 30, 1929, in Belding,
the daughter of Irvin and Luella Griffiths Roberts.  She graduated from Belding
High School and served as a Cub Scout grandmother for a number of years.  Mabel
lived her entire life in the Belding/Long Lake area.  She was married on Sept.
29, 1951, to Warner Ferman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warner Ferman, in May 1994; her
parents; and two brothers, Irvin Roberts and Gerald Roberts.  Mabel is survived
by son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Betty Ferman of Belding; grandson, Robert
Ferman; and two sisters, Betty and Elmer Packard of Hesperia, Ginger Toleson of
Shiloh.

Funeral and committal services are 11 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral
Home, Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger, of Shiloh Community Church, officiating.
 Interment is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be given to the
activities fund of Metron of Belding.
