The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 28, 1939
Funeral services for Miss Mabel Ferman were held at Boynton’s funeral chapel 
Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. A. C. DeVries officiating.  Music was 
presented by Mrs. R. A. Colwell and Mrs. Thane Benedict.  Bearers were Willis 
Ferman, Warner Ferman and Clyde Ferman of Palo, brothers of the deceased, and 
Cecil Leonard.  Interment was in Highland Park cemetery.  Attending the 
services from out of two were Charles Ferman and family of Palo, and Carrie 
Seifert of Ithaca.
