Ionia County News - Thursday, Sept. 28, 1939

Mabel Ferman, daughter of Charles Ferman, Palo, died in the U. of M. 
hospital, Ann Arbor, Monday. She was 22 years old and had been ill about 10 
days.

Deceased was born at Stanton and later moved to Palo where she lived until 
coming to Ionia a short time ago to reside with Mrs. Mae Helms, Fargo 
street.

She is survived by her father, Charles Ferman, three brothers, Clyde, Willis 
and Warner, and a sister, Helen, of Palo. Her mother died last February.

Rev. A.C. DeVries conducted the funeral services from the Boynton Funeral 
chapel at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in Highland Park cemetery.

Pall bearers were her three brothers, Willis, Warner and Clyde Ferman and 
Cecil Leonard.
