Glen McCarty officiating. Interment will be in Saranac cemetery. She was born June 20, 1873, in Orange township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chapman. She moved to Saranac January, 1938, and was married in September, 1928 to John Ferrel. Since their marriage, she had made her home west of Saranac. Surviving are the husband, John; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Ward of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Floyd Hess of Port Huron; one son, Roy Wood, of York Pa.; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
