Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Jan 1965

Mrs. Lillian Grace Ferris, 66, wife of Leo Ferris of route one, Lyons, died 
Friday noon at Ionia County memorial hospital where she had been a patient 
since January 10.  She was born January 19, 1899 in Palo, the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Wallace Smith and attended Palo schools.  She was married to Earl 
Keefer who died in 1932 and November 10, 1941 was married to Leo Ferris.  Mrs. 
Ferris was a member of Lyons Methodist church and WSCS of the church.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Basil Keefer of Lansing; two daughters, 
Mrs. Betty Mulnix of Saranac, Mrs. Bertha Tuck of Wheeler, and a step-daughter, 
Mrs. Audrey Keefer of Lansing; two stepsons, Douglas and Duane Ferris of Lyons; 
11 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Losey of Ionia.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with the Rev. 
Gerald Hedlund of Lyons Methodist church officiating.  Burial will be at Lyons 
cemetery.  A memorial to the cancer fund has been established.
