The Lake Odessa Wave, Thursday, July 21, 1960

Glenn Ferris, 61, route 4, Ionia, Berlin township farmer, passed away 
unexpectedly early Sunday morning following a heart attack.  He was born in 
Eaton county and had lived at his present farm for 23 years and had lived on a 
farm near Portland for 13 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Schumacher of Charlotte, his mother, 
Mrs. Eva Way, of Lake Odessa; one sister, Mrs. Lois Wallace of Detroit; and 
one nephew.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Boynton funeral home in 
Ionia with burial in the Balcom cemetery.  Rev. Donald Meikle of the LeValley 
Methodist church officiated.
