Emeline Ferris died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Skellenger, Monday, 
January 15, 1906, aged 77 years.

The deceased was a half sister of Mrs. Skellenger, was born in Jackson county, 
and she and her husband, Nelson Ferris, have lived with them about one year.  
Her health has been very poor for some time and her mind has also been 
impaired.  The funeral was held at the home today (Thursday) at 10 o’clock, 
a.m. and the interment took place in the Otisco cemetery.
