Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, April 17, 1944

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura E. Ferris, 69, of near Portland, were held 
Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Boynton funeral home. Rev. Paul L. 
Stewart was officiating minister and burial was in North Plains cemetery.

Floral arrangements were in charge of Miss Mabel Scott and Miss Elizabeth 
Kline, both of Midland. Pallbearers were Leo Ferris, Roy Ferris, Richard 
Ferris, Theodore Ferris, Alfred Ferris and Earl Weaver.

Attending services from away were: Miss Edith Doty, Miss Dorothy Wernette, Miss 
Lois Wamsley, Miss Ruth Gluck, Miss Ann Marie Cusack, all of Belding; Mr. and 
Mrs. Earl Weaver and Miss Pauline Weaver of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Alex 
(unreadable) of St. Johns; Miss Mabel Scott and Miss Elizabeth Kline of 
Midland.
