Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Ruby F. Ferris, 74, of 6899 Sunfield Highway, Portland, died at her home Monday.  
She was born Oct 5, 1908, in Springport, Mich., the daughter of Frank and Rose 
Kelly Dickinson.  She was a member of Portland United Methodist Women and the 
Ladies Club of Orange.

Surviving are her husband, Alfred; two sons, Richard of Saranac and Raymond of 
Lyons; four daughters, Sylvia Riker of Ionia; Yvonne Albright and Donna Falor of 
Grand Ledge and Florence Benson of St. Johns, 19 grandchildren and 11 great 
grandchildren; one brother, John Dickinson of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Glady 
Titus of Texas and Mrs. Ida Mae Leeth of California.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 pm from the Neller Funeral Home, Portland 
with the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.  
Pallbearers will be nine grandsons;  Leslie, Jeffery, Mark and Zachary Ferris, 
Russel Albright; Roger Falor and Steven, Daniel and Dennis Riker.
