The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, May 24, 1965
Funeral service for George A. Ferris, 62, of 236 Hanline Street who died 
Wednesday morning, was Saturday with the Rev. Louis Lowndes of Calvary Baptist 
church officiating.  Interment was at Sunset Memorial Garden Shrines.  Bearers 
were Earl Starks, Kenneth O’Grady, Julius Truesdell and Francis Lance.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ferris of Lyons, Ralph 
Ferris, Beverly Shivley and Roger North of Carson City; Lila Jean Ferris of 
Saginaw, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Adrich and family and Alan Aldrich of East Lansing; 
Gloria Ferris of Portland; Mrs. Josephine Bodman and Wanda Lewis of Sumner and 
Kenneth O’Grady of Saranac.
