Irene Fetzer, 93, of Indian River, formerly of Portland and Mulliken, died 
Thursday morning, March 3, 2005 at Tendercare-West, near Lansing.

Mrs. Fetzer was born May 3, 1911, a daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Newberry) 
McDonough.  She enjoyed homemaking and current events.  Mrs. Fetzer was 
preceded in death by her husband, George and her daughter, Ann Stonebrook.

Surviving are three sons, Peter (Patricia) Fetzer of Indian River, Gary Fetzer 
of Mulliken Thomas (Annette) Fetzer of Portland, 4 grandchildren, Sherry 
Fetzer, Sue Hazel, Melanie Steadman and Ian Stonebrook, her great-
granddaughter, Megan Hazel, her sister, Kathleen Walker of Caro, nieces, 
nephews and special friends, Elsie and Bonnie Kirchen.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sat. at Barker-Leik Funeral Home, Mulliken, with Pastor 
Judy Scholten officiating.  Interment will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.  The 
family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fri. at the Funeral Home.  
Memorial contributions may be made to Tendercare-West.
