He was born May 2, 1929, the son of George and Susan (Jacoby) Feuerstein in Keene Township. He was a lifetime dairy farmer, and retired from Aquinas College after 10 years in the maintenance department. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church – Miriam. He married Mary Judith (Judy) Engemann on Dec. 27, 1954 in Belding. He is survived by two daughters, Georgia Sue Bradley and Amy Feuerstein both of Belding; three sons, Edward Feuerstein, Bruce Feuerstein and Andrew Feuerstein all of Belding; four grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Keiffer of Carson City and Leona Gasper of Belding; three brothers, Theodore Feuerstein of Grand Rapids, and Alvin J. Feuerstein and Leo Feuerstein both of Belding. He was preceded in death by one sister, Adeline and six brothers, Nicholas, Joseph, Ambrose, Leonard, Hugh and Michael. Visitation will be Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. at Johnson Funeral home, Belding, and 7-9 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a wake service at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – Miriam. The Rev. George Darling will officiate. Internment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials can be given to St. Mary’s building fund, the American Cancer society, Belding Public Library and the Belding Museum.
