Born July 22, 1934 in Belding daughter of Edward D. & Dorothy (Vandenbroeck) Engemann II. A Long time Belding Resident & Teacher. Graduated from Parnell High School with the Class of 1952 & graduated from Aquinas College & held a Master's degree from University of Detroit Mercy & Grand Valley State University. Taught at one-room school in Oakfield Twp., then at several one & two room rural schools including, Marble School between Belding & Lowell, Smyrna School where she taught with her Mother & was a kindergarten teacher for her younger brother,Eric. Chittel School at Long Lake, the head start Program in Belding, then full time for Belding are schools Orchard Hills & finally as principal at Hall Park Elementary. Judy retired in 1995. A long time member of St.Mary's Catholic Church , Miriam, member of the Altar Society & served on the Parish Council. Judy enjoyed travel, especially trips to Ireland with family & teacher friends. She enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years as well. Judy enjoyed maintaining a small hobby farm, especially having a few sheep & a big garden. Judy loved family get-togethers on Holiday, birthdays and all special occasions with children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Survived by hr children, Edward D.(Nancy) Feuerstein. Bruce (Joy) Feuerstein, Andrew (Jennifer) Feuerstein, all of Belding & Amy Middlestadt of Grand Rapids, many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.siblings Edward D.Engemann III of Punta Gorda, Fla., Farr Hinton of North Muskegon, Preceded in death by parents, first husband George.second husband Dave, brother Eric & daughter Georgia Sue. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM>Tuesday May 16, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church,Miriam Father Jim Wyse presiding. Committal prayers will follow in St.Mary's Cemetery.
