Portland Review, 3 Aug 1915

Mrs. Elizabeth Fey died Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob 
Trierweiler, where she had been for five weeks, aged 67.  Some time ago she 
underwent an operation for removal of cancer, at Chicago, and remained alone in 
her home on the west side until recently.  A daughter, Mrs. D. D. Mohler, of 
Chicago, has been with her of late.  She had a daughter, Ida, living near 
Belding, and three sons – Edward, Will and John, in Grand Rapids.  She was a 
sister of John Lehman, of Portland and Mrs. Christine Snitgen, of Westphalia.  
The remains were taken to her own home yesterday and funeral services will be 
held at St. Patrick church Wednesday morning, Rev. John A. Koelzer 
officiating.  Burial in Portland, where her husband and a daughter are also 
buried.
