Sentinel-Standard - Monday, May 5, 1947

Prayer services were held for Leo Fialkowski Monday morning from Meyers funeral 
home at 8:30 o'clock. The solemn high Mass which followed was sung by the Rev. 
Fr. John Fons assisted by the Rev. Fr. G. Guzlkowski and the Rev. Fr. Farrell 
of Lake Odessa at SS. Peter and Paul church at 9 a.m. Interment was in Mt. 
Olivet cemetery. Mr. Fialkowski died Thursday in Berlin. 

Bearers were A. C. Slowinski, Richard Slowinski, John Sarlouis, James Schnabel, 
Howard Bozung and Leonard Bozung. 

Those who attended the services from away were Mrs. Fred Gazella, Mr. and Mrs. 
Lou Maitner, Ann Slowinski, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Slowinski, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence 
Slowinski and family, Mrs. Minnie Gillis, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crowley and Mr. 
and Mrs. Anthony Funk, all of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Slowinski of 
Port Huron; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hester of Julia, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles 
Nelson of Carson City; and Mr. William Capron of Lake Odessa.
