She was united in marriage to David Figg of Sunfield June 10, 1880 and settled on the farm in Ionia County, Sebewa township where she has since resided. To this union were born seven children, Mrs. Zella Thomas of Lansing, Mrs. Fred Reahm, Mr. Dale Figg, Mr. Voight Figg, and Mr. Hazen Figg all living near Sunfield, Mr. Clare Figg of Vermontville and Mrs. Vera McCartney of Lake Odessa. She leaves to mourn her departure a loving husband, her seven children, and twenty-two grand children, three brothers, Mr. Gideon Stinchcomb, Mr. Edd Stinchcomb and Mr. Monroe Stinchcomb all of Sunfield, besides a number of other friends and relatives. About twenty-seven years ago she accepted Christ as her Savior and has always loved to attend the Lord’s services. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, always anxious of their welfare and willing to do what she could for them and those in need.
