Figurski, 79, of Lake Odessa died Jan. 6, 1993, in Lansing. He was born in Detroit on April 28, 1913, he son of Stanley H. and Valentine (Samarzewski) Figurski. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa and of the Knights of Columbus Portland Council. He was a retired TRW employee and owned and operated Stan's Service Shop at his home. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine; two daughters, Shirley (Donald) Schrauben and Cynthia (Lanny) Reed, both of Portland; eight grandchildren, Chris Schrauben, Andy (Debbie) Schrauben, Phil (Jan) Schrauben, Kathy (Mark) Stambaugh, Mary Schrauben, David Reed, Michelle Reed, and Michael Reed; one great grandchild, Matthew Stambaugh; three brothers, Edward Figurski of St. Clair Shores, Clarence Figurski of Warren, and Donald Figurski of Utica; six sisters, Alice Figurski of Algonac, Margaret Lark of Romeo, Marion Crossman of Algonac, Jane Skurya of Detroit, Estelle Bilecki of Roseville, and Dorothy Prentice of Longmont, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews. The Rosary was recited Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 at Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 9 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Portland, with the Rev. Julian Reginato and the Rev. James Bozung officiating. Interment in Portland Cemetery, Portland.
