Was Buried Here.

Georgie L., Beloved Wife of Henry Filkins, of Grand Rapids, Brought Here on 
Friday.

On Tuesday of last week, after reaching the age of 35 years, 2 months and 11 
days, Georgie L., beloved wife of Henry Filkins, of Grand Rapids, crossed the 
dark valley of the shadow of death and entered the rest that awaits the pure in 
heart on the other side.

Her remains were brought to this city on the 8:17 train on Friday, and 
accompanied by a large number of friends who had known her in life, they were 
taken to Otisco for burial.  A beloved husband and many warm friends will miss 
her happy and genial countenance and there will long remain “the memory of her 
whom to know was to love.”  The bereaved husband is an engineer on the Pere 
Marquette and is employed in the Chicago and west Michigan branch of that 
railroad.
