The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, January 9, 1976

Earl Finch, 74, of 961 Strong road, died Thursday at Sparrow hospital in 
Lansing as a result of burns sustained when a space heater at his home 
exploded recently.

Born in Keene township January 10, 1901, he was the son of Frank and Margaret 
Finch and attended the Lowell and Easton townships schools.  He was a farmer 
in Ionia county all his life.

His nearest survivor is a sister, Hazel Finch of Strong road.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman funeral home.  
Interment will be at Easton cemetery.  Relatives will be at the funeral home 
Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
