Antrim County Record, 14 Dec 1922

Laura Loretta Finch was born Nov. 11, 1843; died Dec. 4, 1922, at the age of 79
years and 22 days.

She was united in marriage to Silas Finch at the age of 19 years.  To this union
were born three children, Isaac Jay Finch, Harriet Jane Finch and George Silas
Finch.  Two of them have preceded her to the spirit world.  Besides her three
children, she has brought up one grand-daughter and four other children.

She was a member of the Methodist church for years.  Her old home was in Ionia
county, having lived on one farm for over 50 years.

She leaves one son, George, of Lowell, a grand daughter, Mrs. Arthur Slocum of
Alden, three grand-children of Lowell and for great grand-children.

[Transcribers note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was the
daughter of Lewis and Sarah (Metcalf) Mason.]
