As her husband Jules held her hand, she came into the real presence of her Savior, Jesus. Anita was born in Port Huron, MI on April 28, 1942, the youngest one of five children born to Roy and Marie (Werner) Warner and shortly thereafter moved to Williamston and then to Lake Odessa. Anita attended Haslett Elementary and the Douglas country school on Meridian Road south of Hold Road for three years before coming to Lake Odessa. Graduating from Lake Odessa High School in 1960, she attended an airline school, worked in Chicago and then found her way to Pasadena, CA. There she met the love of her life in Jules Fink. Them met at a dance put on by a Jewish organization which was the rage for a few years. For a couple of years, the two joined a throng of people who cut the rug silly with great exuberance until the dance sort of faded away. The couple were a part of the Vineyard and she loved the outdoors and loved to hike. She had a great sense of humor and understood and appreciated her lineage. Anita treasured her salvation in her Lord and Savior Jesus. Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy E. and Marie A.K. (Werner) Warner; sister, Donna Mae (Warner Shustari) Scofield and oldest brother, Patrick Adam Warner. Surviving is her husband, Jules and her oldest sister, Maxine (Warner) Nowlin of Okemos and brother, Robert Roy Warner of Lake Odessa; also many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held at a later date in Pasadena, CA. She will be cremated as is her wish.
