Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Feb 1974

Mrs. Louise D. Finkbeiner, 93, formerly of Ionia, died Saturday morning at 202
Church, Saranac, where she lived with her son the past nine weeks.

She was born November 9, 1880, in Germany.  In 1902 she was married at Hersey to
Jacob Finkbeiner.  He died in 1934 and in 1939 she came to Ionia.

She was a member of Hersey United Methodist church.

Surviving are a son, Reuben Finkbeiner of Saranac and daughter, Mrs. Esther
Kenyon of Ionia; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home.  Rev.
George Chaffee will officiate.  Graveside services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at
Hersey Village cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
