Ionia Daily Sentinel, 11 Mar 1948

Mrs. Cora L. Fisher, 69, of 170 Adams street, died Tuesday evening at five 
o’clock in the Ionia Convalescent home.  Services will be conducted Saturday at 
2:30 p.m. at the Stone funeral home, with interment in Balcom cemetery.  Dr. J. 
Lee Lewis, pastor of the Baptist church will officiate.

Mrs. Fisher, the widow of Wm. Fisher of Carson City, was the daughter of Dr. 
and Mrs. McWilliams, who came from Mt. Gilead, Ohio to Middleton when Mrs. 
Fisher was seven years of age.  She had been a resident of Ionia for six years.

Surviving her are one son, Virgil Spencer of Coldwater; one daughter, Mrs. 
Elond Ennis, of Jackson; one grandchild; a brother, Ray McWilliams, of Ithaca, 
and a sister, Miss Marie McWilliams, of Chicago.
