Belding Library Files, Feb. 26, 1979
BELDING - William (Vern) Fisher, 70, R2 Newaygo, died Monday at Gerber 
Memorial Hospital, Fremont.

Mr. Fisher was born May 1, 1908, at Stanton. He was a former Belding resident 
and a retired 34 year employee of Gibson Products Corp. He was a member of 
Wayside Bible Church, Newaygo.

Surviving are his wife, the former Maycie Whitney, whom he married July 30, 
1934, at Greenville; five daughters; two sons; his stepfather, Ralph Hogle, 
Sidney; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Smith, Muskegon, Mrs. Harvey (Wava) Brokaw, 
Fenwick, Mrs. Barbara Jean Moore, Sidney; a brother, Erven, Saranac; 27 
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
