Her health had been very precarious for the past two years and her demise was not unexpected. Mrs. Fisher, whose age was 79 years, was born in Baden, Germany and with her husband came first to Ohio, and later to Miriam, settling on the farm about forty years ago. The funeral was held from the Catholic church in charge of Fr. J.M. Zindler in Miriam, Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. Her remains will be buried by the side of her husband who passed away about 28 years ago. Mrs. Fisher was a most excellent woman. She was the mother of Mrs. Kopp of Miriam, Mrs. Anthony Martin of Allegan, Mrs. Thos. Welsh of Grand Rapids, John Fisher of Miriam and Lewis Fisher of Grand Rapids. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Miriam.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/f/fisher2919nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
