BELDING- William (Vern)Fisher, 70, R2 Newaygo, died Monday at Gerber Memorial 
Hospital, Fremont.

Mr. Fisher was born May 1, 1908, at Stanton. He was a former Belding resident 
and a retired 34-year employee of Gibson Products Corp. He was a member of 
Wayside Bible Church, Newaygo.

Surviving are his wife, the former Maycie Whitney, whom he married July 30, 
1934, at Greenville; five daughters, Mrrs. Merlin (Fern) Bliss, Belding, Mrs. 
Robert (Doris) Watts, LaMiranda, Calif., Mrs. Lewis (Clara) Van Dellen, 
Belmont, Mrs. Glen (Marilyn) Tinson, Portland, Mrs. Eleanor Tower, Middletown, 
Ind.; two sons, Donald, Greenville, Kenneth, Elsie; his stepfather, Ralph 
Hogle, Sidney; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Smith, Muskegon, Mrs. Harvey (Wava) 
Brokaw, Fenwick, Mrs. Barbara Jean Moore, Sidney; a brother, Erven, Saranac; 27 
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Time of funeral services will be announced later by Charles M. Courser Funeral 
Home, Belding. The Rev. Wayne K. Anderson of Green Corners Baptist Church will 
officiate. Interment will be in Otisco Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 
8:30 at the funeral home.
