March 23, 2019 FISHER Ruth Diane "Dee" Fisher aged 67 of Saranac passed away March 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was born December 13, 1951 in South Bend, Indiana. Dee married John L. Fisher February 20, 1971 in Saranac. She worked at Amway Corporation for over 20 years before retirement. Dee was a past member of Galilee Baptist Church in Saranac. She loved riding horses and was involved in EWHA, Coached the Saranac Equestrian team, and formed a 4-H Club in Ionia for the fair. Dee enjoyed her books, mainly thrillers from her favorite author Steven King. She looked forward to summer so that she could go fishing and camping with her family. She cherished memories of trips to the ocean. She loved to visit friends and family. And in her spare time, watched sporting events, soap operas, played card games, drawing, painting, put together puzzles and even crocheted. Dee always found room for adopting pets of all sorts which included raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, cats and even a deer. But most of all Dee especially adored her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband John L Fisher of Saranac. Mother Ruth Sible of Goose Creek, South Carolina. Children; Tonia (Craig) Moe of Ionia, John D. (Martha) Fisher of Saranac and Terry (Brandee) Fisher of Saranac. Grandchildren; Reese Moe, Tori Moe, Keith Fisher, John Fisher II, Isaac Fisher, Edyn Fisher, Emilee & Brookelynn Peters. Sister Gloria (James) Roberts of Goose Creek, S.C. and brother Kevin Rynearson of Goose Creek, SC. Brother and Sisters-in- law Terry and Beverly Fisher of Saranac and Judy Dausman of Saranac. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her Step-Father Bernie Sible, brother Daniel Rynearson, Mother and Father-in-law Ken and Athlene Fisher, Brother and Sister-in-law Dale and Joan McCaul and Brother- in-law Robert Dausman. Private services will be held at a later date. Those wishing may make memorial contribution s to Kindred Hospice. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
