Fisher, 79, of route 2, Clarksville, passed away at Pennock hospital, sat., morning about 7 a.m where he had been a patient for a week. A native of Helena,Mont., he had resided in Grand Rapids for a number of years and was employed as motorman for the Grand Rapids Street Railways for 25 years. He came to Lake Odessa 30 years ago from Grand Rapids, residing on a farm north of town, later moving to the village before moving to the Hastings area and a short time ago to the Clarksville address. Surviving are his wife Mildred; two daughters mrs Keith (Ione) Johnson of Sand Lake and Jane, address unknown; a son Claude J. of Sand Lake; 8 grandchildren and a niece Miss Medora Davison of Grand Rapids. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev.Luther Brokaw officiated.
